I have been interested in IT and everything around it for almost all my life. Everything I know in the IT area I studied by myself. I am a not bad system administrator and my overall experience in UNIX systems is about 12 years. I also know HTML, CSS, some scripting languages and a bit about OOP.

In spite of this, I am not a programmer and have no technical degree: my first major was in journalism, and the second one is in psychology. My scientific and practical interests are cognitive science and engineering psychology.

I study and research ways how an information is collected, processed and stored in our mind. This knowledge is very useful for an another part of a social science I am interested in—usability and interface design.

Also I have a few hobbies. My favorites are photography and biking. Sometimes I am a musician too. You can take a look at my best shots at flickr. Images at the bottom of this page are also mine :)
